Integra Mining Exploration Company (ASX: IGR) informed today that drill results from the Lucky Bay prospect included a high grade hit of five metres grading 25.93 grams/tonne gold that ended in mineralisation.

Lucky Bay is part of the Aldiss-Randalls project where Integra has defined a consolidated resource of 1.8 million oz, at an average grade of 2.8 g/t. Almost two thirds of this deposit is in the indicated resources category. This includes 4.6 million tonnes grading 2.7 g/t at the Salt Creek deposit.

Integra said other RC and diamond drill holes into Lucky Bay displayed “promising indications of similar mineralisation with assays pending.”

Other drill hits at Lucky Bay detailed today included 18 metres @ 4.75 g/t, 13m @ 14.6 g/t and 17m @ 2.36 g/t gold.

Managing director Chris Cairns said the results confirm Integra’s geologic model and upgrades other regional targets.

Cairns said Lucky Bay was originally identified by AurionGold Ltd in 2002 and subsequently was RC drilled by Solomon (Australia) Pty Ltd in 2003. Drilling had identified a zone of high-grade supergene gold mineralisation.

“However, previous explorers had not been able to identify the deeper primary fresh-rock gold

mineralisation source of the supergene gold mineralisation,” he said.

Additional RC and diamond drill holes at Lucky Bay and Lucky Bay North prospects have also demonstrated similar geology and mineralisation. Lucky Bay North is a greenfields prospect generated by Integra over the past 18 months and has not been drill tested.

Cairns said there is an 8 km corridor between the Salt Creek and Lucky Bay deposits that host a number of gold anomalies defined by broad-spaced reconnaissance aircore drilling.

Integra purchased the New Celebration gold plant near Kambalda and it is being refurbished and re-installed at the Salt Creek site.

A pre-feasibility study detailed in August showed the Aldiss-Randalls project offered “robust project returns” with an internal rate of return of 41%.
